Nox: Puts out light from bearers wand

Obliviate: Charm that distroys a person's memory

Orchideous: Makes flowers come out of the bearer's wand

Pack: Tonks used this to pack Harry's trunk

pepper breath: Self-explanatory

Permanent Sticking Charm: self explanatory

Peskipiksi Pesternomi: Useless spell developed by Lockhart, supposed to round up pixies

Petrificus Totalus: Full body-bind

Point Me: Four point spell, points to north; Makes the bearer's wand act like a compass

Portus: Turns an object into a Portkey

Prior Incantato: Reveals previous spell conjured by a wand

Quietus: Makes voice quieter

Reducio: Decreases the size of something

Reducto: The Reductor Curse blasts solid objects out of the way

Relashio: Sends sparks flying from the end of your wand

Releasing charm: Self-explanatory

Reparo: Fixes broken objects. Such as “oculus reparo” would repair a pair of glasses.

Rictusempra: Makes whomever the bearers wand is aimed at to laugh

Riddikulus: Used to get rid of a Boggart

Rowboat Spell: Used by Hagrid in the first book to get back to the main land quicker

Scourgify: Used to clean an object or rid it of all dirt, hair, dust, droppings, etc.

Serpensortia: Makes a snake come out of the bearer's wand

Severing Charm: Used to cut an object, thread, rope, etc.

Shield Charm: Charm used to blunt the blow of a spell aimed at you.

Shooting Object Charm: Used to shoot objects from the end of your wand, or to cause other objects to fly across a room.

Slug spell: Ron attempted to use this spell on Malfoy in the 2nd book, but the spell backfired. The spell causes your opponent to burp up slugs. Yum!  ;-)

Sonorus: Causes the wand bearer's voice to become greatly magnified

Stealth Sensoring Spells: Professor Umbridge put this Charm on her office door after someone put the 2nd niffler in her office.

Stupefy: Stunning spell

Substantive Charm: At one point in the 5th book, Seamus was studying the Substantive Charm for his O.W.L.s test.

Switching Spell: Harry forgot the definition of the Switching Spell during his written Transfiguration O.W.L.s test.

Talon-clipping charm: Self-explanatory

Tarantallegra! - Makes a person dance uncontrollably; Makes whoever bearers wand is aimed at legs move

Twitching Ears hex: Self-explanatory

Unbreakable Charm: Causes an object to be unbreakable. The Firebolt broomstick model comes equipped with this charm.

Unplottable: Used to make an area of land unplottable on a map

Vanishing spell: Causes an object to vanish

Waddiwasi: Shoots objects at a high speed; In book 3 Professor Lupin uses it to send gum up Peeves nose

Wand sparks: Emits sparks from the end of one’s wand

Wand writing: Spell in which a wand can be used as a writing utensil.

Wingardium Leviosa: Can be used to levitate objects.
