Chili Palmer, played by John Travolta, is tired of the movie business. After the unexpected killing of his friend who ran a music business with his wife Edie Athens (Uma Thurman), Chili gets the perfect opportunity to try something new. Chili and Edie hook up to try and create a star out of the talented singer Linda Moon. However that's easier said than done since there's a Russian mob gang that wants Chili dead and the music business Edie and her late husband used to run is deep in debt.

I thought this was a good comedy, it fit my sense of humor fairly well and I found the storyline and acting to be of good quality as well. Travolta definitely plays the part of Chili Palmer perfectly.
